Chef George Kyrtatas a father, American pioneer of Modern Greek Cuisine, became a sought out chef, since the publishing of his Greek Cookbook in 2004 & appearances as a guest chef on many national and international tv programs, Fox 29, ABC News, Phl 17, Flavors of America, Fox and Friends (New York), Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, and the PBS’ show, The Cooking Odyssey. In 2016, Chef George's Cooking Show, Cooking with Kefi, became an international hit airing throughout the word on Mega Satellite Television based in Greece.

George is nationally & international known for his food styling and photography, his warm and approachable personality and award-winning recipes.
Chef Kyrtatas’ ambition, love for food and his passion for cooking lead him to enroll as a culinary student at Academy of Culinary Arts where he graduated with the highest of honors the school offers, a gold medal. George was named a Certified Chef de Cuisine from the American Culinary Federation, the youngest person ever to have had achieved this certification at the time ( age 20 ). After graduation and through hard work, in January 2011, George was voted ( in Greece ) as one of the top 4 Greek Chefs in the world. In December of 2012, George was voted by a panel of his peers as one of the Top 5 Chefs in New Jersey. In 2015, Chef Kyrtatas won the Hospitality Award from the NJRHA and in 2017 George was the Culinary Honoree at the NJ Restaurant Gala.
George also finds time to sit on the advisory board of his college’s culinary program ,he's restaurant consultant, event coordinator, and a guest instructor teaching students about the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet.
