The (ΑΥΘΕΝΤΙΚΟ ΤΡΙΚΑΛΩΝ) AUTHENTIC FROM TRIKALA company of the Skabardonis family was founded in the shadow of Koziakas, the ancient Mount Kerketion, in Filira Trikala in 2007, as a meat production unit. The new unit, following the family pig farm is equipped according to European standards with state-of-the-art equipment and certified with ISO & HAACCP.
Its vision and goal is the revival of the most famous and delicious traditional product of the region, the authentic Trikala sausage. The whole carcasses are used, so that the products are produced exclusively with local Greek meat, fresh leeks and onions of the area, oregano of koziakas and selected spices. Handmade, with the traditional way of preparation, in natural pork intestine that allows smoking, drying and natural maturation.
