In 1973, the Pietris family began lovingly creating this supreme bread. Even today, in Pietris' production facilities, the technique, but also the love of bread kneading, remains the same. Pietris, with faith in tradition and innovation, succeeded and made known to all Hellenism the “Bread of Solomos of Corinth”, that is, the double-baked bread that inflates on its own.
The basic principle, commitment and philosophy of the company and every executive is to provide customers with services and products that fully meet their requirements and expectations, in order to highlight the Greek gastronomic identity, we produce a wide variety of dishes of Greek origin.
The selection of raw materials is made by certified suppliers, with a preference for raw materials of organic origin, with a designation of origin and within the season. Greek cuisine, with the variety and quality of its ingredients, with the wise, beneficial combinations and the knowledge of centuries enjoys a privileged position in our kitchen. Our main feature is the excellent raw materials and aromas of the fertile land: oregano, thyme, bay leaf, rosemary, lemon, and, of course, olive oil.
In 1999 he opened the first production unit in the Corinth isthmus.
That was just the beginning.
In 2004 Pietris Group created in Corinth at the location "BATHARISTRA", a modern, well-equipped and fully materially manufactured-feed unit. Pietris Catering has adopted and is implementing a full range of Certified Food Safety Systems activities in accordance with ISO 22000: 2005 International Standard for Quality Management, in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015 International Standard for Environmental Management. with the International Standard ISO 14001: 2015 and for Health and Safety according to the international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007.
