The company Zagorisio Traditional Fillo took its first steps in 2003 starting from a tavern in the picturesque Zagorochoria. The 2 brothers after many years watched the people disinfect the traditional pies that mom Amalia made in the tavern. Thus was born the idea for the production of the traditional Zagorian fillo. The first steps were taken in small facilities in the local community of Ioannina where the company took its first steps. Over time, demand increased and the transfer to a larger facility was expected because the company had now expanded to many parts of the rest of Greece. Winning more and more consumers, the late Athanasios Χαβέλας and his brother Spyros experienced the joy of seeing so many people love and recommend their product to each other. A few years later, the company has placed its card in many points of sale throughout Greece and has managed to be the first in sales of traditional paper.

The name of the company changed in Zagorisia Traditional Dough when the decision was made to produce other dough products such as pies, kadaifi, puff pastry, etc. For about 7 years the company has offered to the market traditional pies with Epiros recipes and pure raw materials. The company has managed to win awards and distinctions over the years as it maintains the excellent quality of its products.

A black page in the history of the company was the unjust loss of one of the 2 brothers Athanasios when on February 25, 2020 he lost his life. His family continues his work and keeps his vision alive, a market with quality products that will remind Greece of everything.

At the beginning of 2021 the company started the construction of 2 new production units since the demand from the consumers has increased significantly.The company is dynamically expanding in the Greek and foreign markets with exports to over 12 countries, keeping alive the tradition of its place.
